Which horse owner hasn't had this experience: Right after purchasing a new bridle the leather loop for fixing the flash strap is lost. This can happen just as quickly with the strap loops for fixing the overhanging ends of auxiliary reins. Frequently in such cases mane plaiting rubber bands are used as a substitute, but this is not very durable and presentable.
