For stabilization and as a holding handle during the first hours of lunging in the saddle. This patented tool has significant advantages over the traditional method, in which beginners grab the strap at the front of the saddle. OPTIHAND “Basis” can also offer support during therapeutic riding.
For use in the first lunge hours:
- OPTIHAND "Basis" offers a lot of support thanks to the attachment to the saddle on both sides and the robust construction.
- Upright hands, angled elbows and an straight upper body are learned right from the start.
- No more covered hands, outstretched arms and rounded backs, as is often the case when holding on to the strap at the front of the saddle.
- When practicing riding freehand, the tool can simply be placed on the horse's neck
Mistakes that riders make during basic training hinder further development in later learning stages and are often difficult to correct. It is therefore important to take great with learning the correct seat and correct hand position right from the start!

Main differences between OPTIHAND “Basis” and OPTIHAND “Evolution”:
1. OPTIHAND “Basis” is attached to the saddle using TWO length-adjustable straps with hooks. This means that the tool offers beginner riders great stability when holding on, both vertically and horizontally.
2. OPTIHAND "Basis" does not have any turning handles, as these are not necessary at the very beginning of the training.
3. OPTIHAND "Basis" is not suitable for advanced riders, as more flexibility of the rider's hand is required at this level of training. OPTIHAND “Evolution” should be used here to give the rider the right feeling for the rein aids.
4. OPTIHAND “Evolution” consists of a U-shaped stainless steel construction with softly padded, rotating handles; OPTIHAND “Basis”, on the other hand, is a stable grab handle made of wood.

The use of OPTIHAND tools in equestrian disciplines such as: For safety reasons, we advise against jumping training, cross-country riding and young or difficult horses. The product should only be used on calm, experienced horses in a safe environment and a positive learning atmosphere. Appropriate care is required. In order to avoid unintentional opening of the fastening straps, the strap ends protruding from the adjustment slider must be at least 2 cm long and the straps must be passed through the slider twice. Store the product in a dry place.
