Light Protection Masks

7 Products

The innoHorse light protection masks have been developed especially for horses reacting extremely sensitive to sun light. They work like sunglasses and at the same time keep away insects. The material used is a high-tech synthetic fabric with light-protection properties, whose UV-protection effects have been tested by the German Institute for Applied Light Technique.

Horse owners and veterinarians use them with special eye diseases, such as for instance periodic ophthalmia (moon blindness/recurrent uveitis), conjunctivitis, injuries of the cornea, after eye surgery and with headshaking problems due to light sensitivity. They can also be very helpful in cases of inclination to sunburns. (Frequently asked questions)
The innoHorse light protection masks are made in Germany. Therefore special designs are available on request.

What's special about innoHorse's "sunglasses for horses"?

innoHorse sun protection masks have been manufactured in Germany for over 20 years. They were initially developed for our own needs in collaboration with a veterinarian; the managing director's horse suffered from headshaking syndrome.

Later, this led to the creation of an entire range with different levels of sun protection and in all common sizes. Fortunately, we have already been able to help many horses with our products. On-site production also allows for custom-made products for special requirements and repairs.
